Open Access

All articles are published in our journal on the “Open Access” basis. Thanks to this, we ensure open access to the articles, which appear on journal’s webpage in their full version, with no restrictions. In our opinion, open access in science conduces to the global exchange of knowledge.

All the articles are made available in accordance with the Creative Commons’ open licencing policy rules defined in Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). They may be copied and disseminated, on condition that they are cited in a correct way. For every article, various citation styles are provided, which can be easily downloaded: you should only open the article chosen and click the “Get citation” icon situated in the top right corner.

We are very particular about the promotion and dissemination of the articles published on our webpage, but with no harm to the authors. Therefore, the authors who publish their articles in “The Archives of Automotive Engineering – Archiwum Motoryzacji” quarterly do not waive their copyrights; what is more, they benefit from the “Open Access” model and from the Creative Commons’ open licencing policy. The benefits include:

• broad accessibility, which easily makes it possible to reach wide circles of readers, both in Poland and abroad;
• increased citability of the article;
• support for scientific communication;
• possibility of consulting the publication even after many years;
• the author remains the holder of all the proprietary rights, thanks to which he/she may simultaneously publish the article in repositories, on author’s own webpage, or in a blog;
• the publication accessibility range may be widened thanks to a possibility of indexing the article in foreign databases.
